We are a café in the Castro District of San Francisco. Our mission is to serve and build our community: whoever you are, wherever you’re from, whoever you love, we are excited and honored to serve and welcome you here!
We serve German-inspired "boards," like bierwurst and salami with gruyere cheese and fresh veggies; small plates, such as buttered or Nutella bread and pretzels; plus coffee drinks and a selection of beer, wine, and low ABV cocktails.
In celebration of summer, we are introducing Mauer Picnic Baskets - perfect for that sunny day at Dolores Park (only a block away)! We'd also love to welcome you to our cafe for any private events and catering needs.
